Who Is Robyn Hughes Ryman?
Robyn Hughes Ryman completed her Master's Degree in Dance at York University in December 2010. She teaches BMN in the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School in Toronto. Robyn trained at the Australian Ballet School and the Benesh Institute of Choreology in London, England, where she received an Advanced Teacher's Diploma in BMN, as well as AIChor and FIChor qualifications. She has worked with companies including Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet, the Bayerische Staatsoper Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada; choreographers such as David Earle, Danny Grossman, and Brian Macdonald; and institutes including the Banff School of Fine Arts, the National Ballet School, and the Ontario Science Centre. Her areas of dance research interest are preservation, computerization of notation, animation, and education.
